The HRO generally posts session-only job announcements in the fall before a regular legislative session. Typically, an administrative clerk,
an associate editor, and several analysts are hired for the session, to work from January to June.
Full-time, permanent positions are posted when an opening comes available. When such a position opens, a notice is posted
on the HRO website, the Texas House of Representatives site, the HRO Facebook page, and other relevant sources. Please check
back periodically if you are interested in permanent employment with the HRO.
